ジャッキープロデュース、サモハンキンポー出演の表演武術映画『拳師』を観たよってお話です。

I have just finished watching the movie "Wushu - young generation".
I did not know about this movie until I read jiayoowushu blog.

The story was about a group of young wushu athletes who met and grew up while studying in a same wushu school. Two of them were young sons of a teacher of the school. Together with these little brothers, a girl, and two boys established a group with a spirit.

10 years later at the age of graduating high school they grew up as the best young athletes and facing challenge to be selected as members of national wushu team - by the result of the championship. Just in the middle of these important days to determine future, an incident occurred - by a criminal who was abandoned from the wushu school in the past. All main characters got involved and learned lessons to take right and suitable path to the future.

The producer is Jackie Chan, and the father of two brother boys were played by Sammo Hung Kam-bo.
Sammo Hung and all young actors shown brilliant wushu technique in the movie.
Especially the scenes of wushu championship are excellent. I remember I watched some of them on YouTube.

Just about the movie, I cannot say the plot was one of the best kinds. Message beneath is not particularly clear enough, and so I am not sure if this appeals to anyone outside wushu world.
But then, I realized how hard it could be for someone to know about wushu as a sport. Watching this movie, some people might got some idea that Kungfu school exists, and those who learn it choose what sort of categories to compete- knowing there are Sanda and Wushu as separate things, and how they are judged, and difficulties for optional routine.  So I suppose this is a movie to introduce what actual sport wushu world is about. I am not sure if they can actually get that strong and can fight back gangsters like this anyway.

Solely about wushu, Jiansu ones were excellent. So so so so great and looked fantastic and REAL. But that's maybe because I have more chance to see Jianshu closely, as some of my friends are practicing it.
And it was bit strange that there was no routine on fist sparring. No Nanquan either!!!
But I was quite happy to watch all the scenes how they practiced wushu.

I recommend you watch it, if you are keen on weapon.
Hmm I should read more of these stuffs to get accustomed to words and phrases in English.

In Japanese the movie is called 拳師. You can watch with Japanese subtitle.
